This year’s GiGse, the first to be co-located with Juegos Miami at The Miami Biltmore (May 30 – June 1), will feature more than 30 speakers who will deliver 13-plus hours of insight and more than seven hours of networking covering the entire spectrum of North American gambling, gaming and betting in 2018.

The latest confirmed speakers include; Joe Asher, CEO, William Hill US, Art Manteris, VP Sport and Race Operations, Station Casinos / Red Rock Resorts and Benjie Cherniak, President, Don Best Sports, who will be part of the Sport betting in the USA panel entitled – Will it be a new transformative force in the US gaming landscape and provide a push for a more successful iGaming adoption in a near future?; and Patrick Garofalo, State Representative, Minnesota House of Representatives who will discuss Regulating and taxing sports betting: Reviewing the options and how they will define the future of the market?alongside Scott Butera, Commissioner, Arena Football League and Richard Schuetz, Gaming and Regulatory Consultant, Former Executive Director, Bermuda Casino Gaming Commission.

Clarion’s Sadie Walters, who has curated the agenda, confirmed that this year’s speakers have been chosen to feature the top thought leaders who will provide the leading insights and practical guidance into the changing regulations on the horizon for the US gaming industry in 2018.

GiGse’s programme will feature C-Level debates including the monetisation of sports betting, the role of technology in growing the gaming industry outside of regulatory boundaries, the utilisation of behavioural data in tracking players from mobile to the casino floor, personalisation and artificial intelligence as methods of engaging with digital users, as well as a panel looking at the pace of online gambling regulation and consumer attitudes towards it.  Key events taking place include the GiGse LaunchPad, where five start-ups will present in front of an investors panel with the eventual winners determined by the GiGse audience, and the Game Content Theatre, where operators will be given the chance to experience new game content concepts.
