William Hill has confirmed the appointment of Sharon Otterman as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to its US division.

A seasoned media executive, Otterman joins William Hill US senior leadership team from The Madison Square Garden Company, where she held the position of Executive Vice President for Marketing, leading the digital strategies of MSG venues and their associated teams.

Otterman has held further leadership positions at NBC News (CMO – 2009-2015) and ESPN Sports (VP of Digital Strategy – 2003-2009).

Taking charge of William Hill US marketing leadership, Otterman will be tasked with establishing the betting group’s initial US marketing strategy including media planning, agency and stakeholder management.
