Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) welcomed more than 80 representatives from 33 government entities and 19 countries from Latin America, the Caribbean and Spain to its 11th Annual Latin American and Caribbean Regulators Roundtable. The three-day event took place in Lima, Peru with the collaboration of the Directorate of Games of Chance and Casino Games (DGJCMT), Peru´s gaming regulator.

This year’s record-setting event featured representatives from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curacao, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Jamaica, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Spain, Turks and Caicos, Uruguay, and the US Virgin Islands. CIBELAE (Corporation of Iberoamerican State Lotteries) was also in attendance.

Presented by GLI University, the conference featured 28 speakers representing some of the most respected and brightest names in the Latin American, Caribbean, and Spanish gaming and lottery industries. These experts were joined by GLI’s president and CEO James Maida, and its global team of experts representing Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Australasia, and North America.

“The Roundtable traditionally shines for its learning, collaboration and networking qualities, and especially in this occasion, it became a window into the current status of the gaming and lottery industries of the countries represented in the conference; and it has contributed in building to the efforts we are all doing toward the legitimisation of our industry.”

Peru’s general director of the General Direction of Casino Games and Slot Machines, Manuel Antonio San Román Benavente, said: “I would like to extend my greatest recognition and gratitude to GLI for the XI Regulators Roundtable that took place in the city of Lima.
