US-based iGaming and sportsbook technology specialist Bet.Works has appointed Dr Laila Mintas as Chairwoman of its advisory board with a focus on helping drive the firm’s sports betting activities in America.

Mintas’ most recent role was as Deputy President for Sportradar US, the global sports data analyst. She was also recently awarded the Leaders in Sports Under 40 Award, the Sports Business Journal’s Game Changers Award, the International Award for Women in the Gaming Industry –Inspiration of the Year and was named one of the 25 executives to watch in 2019 by Global Gaming Business magazine.

Bet.Works’ Founder and CEO David Wang welcomed the appointment, saying: “We are thrilled to have Dr Mintas chair our advisory board.
