Four out of five puts Kambi in the lead in Pennsylvania

Global sports betting technology provider, Kambi and its partner Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment have launched a new on-property sportsbook for the second time in two weeks, with the new launch becoming the latest addition to the Pennsylvania sportsbook offering.

Swiftly following on from last week’s successful launch at Parx Casino, the South Philadelphia Turf Club received regulatory clearance to make its official sports betting debut after two days of testing by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB).

The launch extend’s the technology provider’s Pennsylvania portfolio, now making it a market leader in sportsbook operations, powering four of the five on-property sportsbooks throughout Pennsylvania, with further plans to launch sports betting at the operator’s Valley Forge Turf Club.

Max Meltzer, Kambi Chief Commercial Officer, said: “The prime location of the South Philadelphia Turf Club offers Kambi a unique platform to reach some of Philadelphia’s most passionate sports fans who when going to support their teams also want some skin in the game.

“Today’s successful launch provides further evidence of Kambi’s ability to deliver for its partners both online and on-property in a short space of time, making us the trusted choice for those looking to leverage their strong brand and provide their customers with high-quality sports betting experiences.”

The Turf Club, an off-track betting establishment, is just a stone’s throw away from the Lincoln Financial Field and Stadium, where current Super Bowl champions the Philadelphia Eagles play.

The new Kambi sportsbook will be complementary to the Turf Club’s current horseracing offering, with the complex now including additional TV screens for live sports, modern digital signage, seven teller windows and nine sports betting kiosks.

Pending the approval from the PGCB, Kambi have planned to launch a Parx-branded online sportsbook which will facilitate mobile wagering in Pennsylvania.

In the meantime, players can use the Parx Betslip Builder mobile app, which uses Kambi’s ‘Bring Your Own Device’ technology, to allow players to view odds and create bet slips from anywhere in the state. The app generates QR codes to facilitate easy bet placement at both Parx Casino and Turf Club.
