Nevada bookmaker CG Technology and New Meadowlands Racetrack have issued a joint announcement to the effect that CG Technology, through its affiliate CG Technology NJ, will offer online and mobile sports betting in New Jersey in a partnership with Meadowlands Racetrack starting this year.

While the deal remains subject to approval by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, the bookmaker said that it hopes to go live in time for the start of the next football season in the fall.

Parikshat Khanna, CEO of CG Technology, commented: “We are delighted to enter the New Jersey market and bring forth our decade-plus of experience catering to customers in the country’s biggest gambling market. As an early mover in the Nevada sports wagering business, we always envisioned national expansion that would give American consumers more product options.”

The company will join a crop of retail and online sportsbook operators in the Garden State as New Jersey has rapidly embraced sports betting since legalization last year.

Jeff Gural, Chairman and CEO of New Meadowlands Racetrack, responded: “We are excited to announce this partnership with CG Technology. We are confident CGT, with its years of experience, will bring some new and inventive offerings that will appeal to the New Jersey online and mobile sports wagering market.”
