Sports Betting Community (SBC) has confirmed an annual platinum sponsorship with IAGA, the International Association of Gaming Advisors.

The new partnership strengthens SBC’s position in the US sports betting market, as it puts the final touches to preparations for the inaugural Betting on Sports America.

It comes just a few months after IAGA agreed to support the first running of Betting on Sports America – held across New York and New Jersey from 23-25 April – in its bid to become the country’s most relevant and reputable sports betting based conference.

Formalising this partnership therefore provides an extra level of credibility to the #bosamerica conference agenda, which lareday features several IAGA members and covers a range of key issues across the following conference tracks – Betting on Regulation, Trading & Operations, Marketing, Sports & Betting, States of the Nation and Demystifying Sports Betting.

Kirsten Clark, Executive Director of IAGA said: “IAGA is pleased to have SBC’s support as our newest annual platinum sponsor, and we are pleased to be partnering with them to support their upcoming Betting On Sports America conference in New Jersey this April. We look forward to collaborating further with their team as they bring their global sports betting expertise to North America and appreciate their commitment to support IAGA’s ongoing efforts to provide high-quality education resources for our worldwide members and partners.”

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO & Founder of SBC commented: “We are delighted to support such a reputable organisation as IAGA. With sports betting growing in the US, it was an easy decision to support IAGA and its members as they continue to address key industry issues for the good of the industry. At the same time, IAGA’s experience and support has already been an immense help for us to turn Betting on Sports America into the must-attend event in the US for the sports betting industry.”

IAGA, an organisation that has been around since 1980, has seen its membership expand over the 40-year period to include a wide range of leading attorneys, senior executives, financial advisors, regulators, consultants and academics.

It hosts annual conferences where attendees are invited to discuss key industry trends, which of course includes the tribal response to new sports betting regulation, staying compliant with state laws, new challenges to the Wire Act interpretation and the spread of sports betting bills across the country.
