Online gaming and sports betting software provider BetConstruct has secured membership to the Fantasy Sports and Gaming Association (FSGA).

Founded in 1998 as the Fantasy Sports Trade Association, the organisation was subject to a rebrand earlier this year, expanding its scope to include all new markets emerging in sports.

It represents the interests of both fantasy sports and gaming companies in the United States and Canada, as well as more than 60 million fantasy sports players across the two countries.

BetConstruct, who has already developed fully customisable fantasy sports software in partnership with Atlantis Gaming Corporation, believes there is a renewed opportunity to “explore possibilities and seek new innovation” for its fantasy offering, especially given that sports betting “will not go nationwide in the blink of an eye”.

The company has also highlighted the benefits of joining the FSGA, including access to exclusive research data and entry to multiple networking occasions such as the organisation’s Summer Conference, which takes place at the Crowne Plaza in New York this week (27-28 June).

A spokesperson for BetConstruct concluded: “This event, alongside the benefits of the newly gained membership, will help BetConstruct to perfect its fantasy sports offering, unveil the product’s full potential and win the hearts of fantasy players in the United States and Canada.”
