Online gaming and sports betting firm PointsBet, parent of PointsBet US, has turned to former Juniper, Sun Microsystems and Aristocrat Leisure executive Manjit Gombra Singh as its new president for product and technology.

Singh was previously a founder of security vendor DruvStar, a senior director at Juniper Networks and director of software engineering at Sun Microsystems. His experience also includes a stint at Aristocrat where he was Chief Technology Officer. 

In another move, the company has also switched roles for group CFO Nick Fahey who is now the group’s Chief Commercial Officer. Andrew Mellor, Chief Strategy Officer, takes his place. 

In a statement, PointsBet CEO Sam Swanell commented: “Manjit recognises the progress we have made and the opportunity ahead. Manjit will bring key leadership and technology capabilities to the global business and is well placed to drive our technology and product strategy as we continue to expand in the United States,” PointsBet CEO Sam Swanell said.
