The Board of Directors of SciPlay has appointed Michael Marchetti as a Director of the company’s new publicly traded social game business and member of the Audit Committee with immediate effect.
Marchetti is the Chief Financial Officer of education technology innovator Age of Learning, creating engaging and effective learning resources to help children build a strong foundation for academic success. He also serves on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Audit Committee for TechStyle Fashion Group, a global fashion and lifestyle company.
His other roles include that of founding executive and Chief Financial Officer of JAMDAT Mobile, one of the first publicly traded mobile gaming companies in the US. JAMDAT was acquired by Electronic Arts, where Marchetti served as SVP, COO of EA’s Interactive division. Subsequent to Electronic Arts, he was Chief Executive Officer of Buffalo Studios, creator of the Bingo Blitz social game, which was sold to Caesars Interactive.
