GeoComply and partners including SG Digital, Worldpay Gaming and Sightline Payments raised $45,220 for the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) on the eve of the annual Global Gaming Expo (G2E), which runs this week in Las Vegas.

The event, attended by gaming industry executives from around the world, was held on Sunday evening (13 October) at the residence of philanthropist Diana Bennett.

VAIX, Accertify and GameSecure were the other partners of GeoComply to help raise the funds, while individual donations were taken from guests on the night.

“Player welfare is an extremely important conversation in our industry and we are seeing preventative developments as technology suppliers work to identify behavior markers, operators expand training & support programs and regulators enhance their Responsible Gambling regulations,” said Anna Sainsbury, Founder and CEO of GeoComply

“NCPG is the support system for those vulnerable people that are in need of help. As our industry receives very little funding from the National Institute of Health, it is up to us to come together to financially drive preventative and care programs for citizens.”

The NCPG is the national advocate for programs and services to assist people, families and communities experiencing problem gambling in states across the US.
