Kentucky based wagering firm Churchill Downs Incorporated has launched a new retail sportsbook under its BetAmerica brand at the Rising Star Casino Resort in Rising Sun, Indiana this week.
Located within a one-hour’s drive of Cincinnati and within two hours of Indianapolis and Louisville, the new sportsbook offers wagering on professional sports including the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL, alongside college sports and major international sporting events.
The 3,000-square foot facility will broadcast games on more than 30 television screens, and players can place their bets at 16 automated betting kiosks, or at windows with specially-trained sportsbook staff.
Additionally, BetAmerica will offer online sports wagering across Indiana, subject to gaming license approvals. The agreement with Rising Star Casino Resort’s owner, Full House Resorts, also allows the brand to offer online sports wagering in the state of Colorado following its recent legislation approval, and a retail sportsbook at the Bronco Billy’s Casino and Hotel in Cripple Creek.
