Will FanDuel extend lead in Pennsylvania?: Sports betting figures for Pennsylvania will be released early this week and the big story will be if FanDuel Sportsbook managed to grow its market share beyond the 45.5% of handle it commanded in September. It will also mark the last month of six mobile sportsbooks in operations. DraftKings Sportsbook and Kindred’s Unibet-branded sportsbook both launched this month. In New Jersey, FanDuel appears to be capturing more than half of the market.

Oregon revenue, too: The Oregon Lottery Commission will release the first revenue figures from its Scoreboard online and mobile sportsbook powered by SBTech by Friday. Scoreboard launched October 16, so the numbers likely won’t tell the full story with just two NFL Sundays included. There has also not been much promotion of the app via online channels, nor has there been any type of promotions to entice or retain bettors. Handle from the state will likely be lower than others due to a ban on college sports betting. There’s also no retail sports betting through the lottery currently with kiosks expected to go live next year. Currently the only retail sports betting available is at the Chinook Winds Casino.

Tennessee sports wagering council meets: The Volunteer State is finally starting to move on sports betting after the governor allowed Tennessee’s sports betting bill to pass without his signature in May. There have been no regulations set so far but that process should get started soon with the first meeting of the Sports Wagering Advisory Council Friday. The nine-person advisory board isn’t even fully filled but has at least five members, so meetings can take place. Tennessee is unique in the US sports betting landscape as it legalized just online sports betting.
