Scientific Games Corporation has appointed a new Chief Product Officer in Rich Schneider who is tasked with overseeing the company’s product strategy and defining R & D road maps. He will join the firm mid 2021. 

Described by SG as a proven leader in the gaming industry, Schneider arrives with 30 years’ experience of creating ground-breaking gaming products. Most recently, he served as Chief Product Officer at Aristocrat where he directed the creative studios, hardware development and product design. 

He has also held executive roles at Walker Digital Table Systems, Acres Gaming, and numerous leadership roles at IGT. A visionary in the industry, Schneider is also a founding member of the Gaming Standards Association and served for three years as its Vice Chairman.
