Online sports betting firm Betsul has signed a new sponsorship deal with Brazilian first division team Atlético Mineiro. Under the terms of the agreement, which is set to operate throughout 2021, the brand’s logo will be located on the back of the team’s shorts.

“Even in such a difficult scenario due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Atlético has shown the strength of the brand and has obtained another important sponsorship,” said the club’s sponsorship manager, Pedro Melo. “Betsul decided to support the team at an important moment for the club and we count on the participation of our fans to activate this association.”

In addition to the initial investment, the bookmaker has confirmed that the fans will receive benefits every time they deposit on the site, through the links published by the team on its official channels.

Betsul CEO Fernando Rivas explained that the association represents an important step in the history of world football. “We look forward to getting back even stronger,” he said. “We are going to take advantage of our creativity to contribute to the finances of the club through marketing campaigns, so we can relive the good times that this club has seen in the past.”

The agreement was first launched last wee with a promotion for the first 300 players to deposit money on the site, which will run until next week. Then, they will compete in a draw to get five jerseys signed by the team’s professional players.

Former futsal athlete and two-time world champion Falçao is the official ambassador in Brazil for the company based in Curaçao. He was also a national champion with Atlético Mineiro.
