Sports betting operator Circa Sports Colorado, the brainchild of casino owner and downtown Las Vegas developer Derek Stevens, has announced today the launch of its mobile sports betting app in the Centennial State.

As a subsidiary of Circa Sports, which launched a mobile app in Nevada in 2019 as well as two sportsbooks at Golden Gate Hotel & Casino and the D Las Vegas, Circa Sports Colorado will provide a Vegas-style sports betting menu, including special offerings and competitive odds for Colorado teams and sporting events.

Circa Sports CEO Stevens said: “With the proliferation of sport betting apps, the industry has lost that customer-first feel. What we’re doing with Circa Sports is providing an unrivaled customer experience that is built on transparency and enabled with technology. It’s a sportsbook run by sports bettors.

“We’ve experienced immense success with this approach since launching in Vegas last year, and are thrilled to be able to offer it to the great state of Colorado, which has a rich history in professional and amateur sports, and a strong fan base that supports its teams.”

Circa Sports Colorado will provide odds for all major sports as the leagues resume activity following the COVID-19 shutdowns. Under Sportsbook Director Matt Metcalf, the firm has continued to provide bettors with mobile wagering options on sports that have remained active like UFC, international soccer, NASCAR, Korean baseball, various esports, futures betting for NFL and College Football, Week 1 NFL action, and more.

While casinos and brick-and-mortar sportsbooks were closed in Vegas, Circa Sports opened curbside service at Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, allowing visitors to activate mobile wagering accounts, fund their Circa Sports app balance, and sign up for the company’s upcoming football contests.

Like Circa Sports’ Nevada app and sportsbooks, the Colorado version will feature creative props bets, higher and fairer betting limits, and lower holds on futures markets than other sportsbooks and sports betting apps said the firm. It also offers yes/no futures bets, allows futures bets in parlays, and does not reduce limits for winning bettors.

“When it comes to fair odds and high limits there’s Circa Sports and there’s everyone else,” said Stanford Steve, of SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt and Daily Wager. “Anyone betting in Vegas or Colorado should be checking Circa’s lines.”

The Circa Sports Colorado app will be run out of Las Vegas, but Circa Sports will look to host a series of local events. The Colorado launch marks the first market outside of Nevada for the firm which is currently examining other markets for expansion. Additionally, later this year Circa Sports is opening the world’s largest sportsbook — a multi-level, stadium-style sportsbook at the 35 floor, 777-room Circa Resort & Casino.

The mobile sports betting app will operate in association with one of the Colorado Master Licenses for sports wagering held by Century Casinos’ subsidiaries. The Sportsbook Cooperation Agreement with Century Casinos and Circa Sports is a 15-year agreement that includes a market access fee, a share of net gaming revenue, and a minimum revenue guarantee payable to Century Casinos each year.
