ROAR Digital, the joint venture between GVC Holdings and MGM in the US, has chosen Glynn Carroll to head up its sportsbook operations.

Carroll has taken on the role of Vice President of Sportsbook Operations and will be relocating to the US once the COVID-19 outbreak subsides.

Having first joined Ladbrokes in 2015 as Director of Trading Operations, Carroll most recently held the role of Director of Trading Performance at the wider GVC Group.

He is now tasked with delivering a market-leading sportsbook for the US audience, building an enhanced trading operation to support that aim and work on a system of continuous improvement based on customer feedback and experience,

ROAR Digital has also made two more senior appointments with Product Director Liron Warhaftig promoted to Vice President of Product and Matthew Sunderland taking the title of Vice President of Gaming.

Warhaftig will be heading up the company’s new Customer Experience function as he continues to control Roar’s products across several verticals.

After two years consulting the company, where he oversaw P&L in gaming, Sunderland will now be an official part of the ROAR Executive Leadership Team. The new role reflects the progress made by the firm’s gaming products, which are currently its biggest revenue generators.

The appointments were announced on the back of the sudden news this week of GVC Holdings CEO Kenny Alexander‘s decision to step down and be replaced by COO Shay Segev.
