Sports betting operator BetWinner has expanded its presence in Latin America, placing a specific focus on Brazil with the official launch of its Portuguese and Spanish social media accounts on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook in the region.

The launch of official accounts in these languages from these Latin American nations follows on from the recent appointment of Roberto Carlos as its official ambassador.

The left-back, who played for the Brazilian national team, Real Madrid, Palmeiras and Corinthians, represents the brand in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama , Nicaragua and Puerto Rico.

Public Relations Director at BetWinner João Vaz commented on the launch of the accounts in the Latin American languages explaining that the strategy represents another step in the plan to connect locally.

He said: “The focus on operating in Latin American countries requires that our brand communicate directly. The creation of the accounts is essential in this process of naturalizing the brand. The profiles in Portuguese and Spanish will add value to the brand as well as having Roberto Carlos as our ambassador.

“Therefore, I believe that we will speak directly with the public from these countries by creating brand awareness, with the presence of Roberto Carlos as our ambassador. “

BetWinner’s Regional Director in Brazil, Gustavo Hiroshi, added that the investment will continue as the brand expands its LatAm presence, saying: “The work has been going on for some time and the numbers direct us to a market whose potential is immense. We will continue to invest in order to increasingly be connected locally.”
