Sports betting software firm Amelco has partnered with Sportradar, the global provider of sports betting and sports entertainment products and services, to deliver a full platform and managed trading services (MTS) solution to online Tennessee operator Action247.

Under the terms of the agreement, the new pairing went live on Sunday, November 1 as one of the four initial operations to be approved by the Tennessee regulator.

In a historic first, the deal has seen Action247 become the first sports betting operation in the US to be powered by both Amelco’s full sports betting solution and Sportradar’s MTS and technology.

Slated as one the US’s most exciting betting start-ups, state-owned Action247 is also set to further benefit with the addition of Chalkline’s sports-based F2P catalog, a hugely popular customer acquisition driver offering over 40 sports.

Commenting on the deal Brandon Walker, Head of Business Development at Amelco, said: “We’re really going from strength to strength stateside as more and more operators start to see our products in action.

“Partnering with Sportradar to go live in a newly-regulated US state is something we are very excited about, and with the addition of Chalkline’s catalogue, I’m confident we have a fantastic product ready for Action247 to take to its players.”

Neale Deeley, Vice President of US Sales and Gaming at Sportradar added: “We are delighted to be working with Amelco in Tennessee on behalf of Action247. As a trusted partner of ours globally, Amelco has become invaluable to our operations across multiple US opportunities. We look forward to progressing our stellar partnership even further with this deal, and helping Action247 drive its business forward with our MTS.”

The supplier of choice for a number of US multi-territory tier one operators, including Flutter Entertainment and FOX Bet, Amelco with this latest partnership has secured yet another major US milestone, with regulatory approval now totaling five US states.
