Xtremepush puts the Penn to Barstool Sportsbook app deal

Xtremepush has struck a new partnership deal with Penn Interactive, a wholly owned subsidiary of Penn National Gaming, that will see the multichannel engagement platform provider service Penn National’s Barstool Sportsbook mobile app. 

The Xtremepush platform will enable Penn Interactive to deliver personalised, real-time messages that both enhance the player experience and drive conversions.

One of the most recognised names in the North American betting industry, Penn National operates 41 gaming facilities (casinos and racetracks) across the United States. 

Earlier this year, Penn National entered into a strategic partnership with Barstool Sports, whereby Barstool is exclusively promoting the company’s land-based and online casinos and sports betting products, including the Barstool Sportsbook mobile app. Penn Interactive currently operates 16 retail sportsbooks at Penn National casinos in the U.S.

The Barstool Sportsbook app launched in Pennsylvania in September and was the most downloaded sports betting and sports app nationally during its initial launch weekend. It is due to launch in Michigan in the coming weeks. 

The partnership with Xtremepush will enable Penn Interactive to understand and engage with users of the Barstool Sportsbook at an individual level, delivering the sort of world-class experiences that its customers have come to expect.

In particular, Penn Interactive will be looking to leverage the real-time engagement, location-technology and personalisation capabilities that Xtremepush offers. 

The solution that Penn Interactive has in place will enable it to deliver content and odds that are individually tailored to each customer, reflecting their personal betting interests (including their preferred sports, teams and typical bet-type).
