Scientific Games Corporation and FanDuel Group, a Flutter Entertainment subsidiary, have reinforced their partnership this week with the former deploying its sports betting technology in Illinois and Indiana. The dual launch follows debuts with FanDuel in Colorado and West Virginia, cementing a 20-year relationship between SG and Flutter Entertainment.

The ongoing partnership brings the number of states where FanDuel is live with OpenSports technology to four, with a further six launches planned over the coming months.

Alongside FanDuel, OpenSports is also a key component of Flutter Entertainment’s global sports brands that include Betfair, Sky Bet and Paddy Power in Europe and Sportsbet in Australia.

In a statement, SG said: “OpenSports has a proud history of performing at the highest levels during the biggest sporting events across the globe – demonstrated with 100% uptime during the biggest annual sporting event in the US, February’s Big Game.”

Jordan Levin, Group CEO, Digital at SG, commented: “World class operators like FanDuel need sports technology partners like Scientific Games. We have a long and successful partnership with Flutter and it’s exciting to see our leading sports betting technology go live in more states with their iconic FanDuel brand.

“Providing them with renowned platform stability and scalability gives them a rock-solid foundation to maximize player engagement and market share.”
