SBC, the leading international gambling industry events organizer, has announced the launch of the inaugural SBC Awards North America, which will take place in New York City on December 2, 2021.

The awards, which form part of the three-day SBC Summit North America conference and trade show, are designed to celebrate and reward excellence among operators, affiliates, and suppliers in the region’s high-growth sports betting and igaming industry.

SBC’s awards ceremonies are renowned as occasions that combine lavish hospitality with high-level networking opportunities, and the 600 guests at the SBC Awards North America 2021 can look forward to a memorable evening.

Operators, lotteries, affiliates and suppliers – including platform, content, and payments services suppliers – working in any US or Canadian market are eligible to enter the 26 awards categories. The nomination period runs until August 26, 2021, with the shortlists and winners to be decided by an independent panel of expert judges.

Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, said: “The growth of the legal sports betting and igaming industry in North America over the past three years has been a true business phenomenon, and it is time to honor the achievements of the companies driving that success.

“From the long-established brands that have embraced mobile gambling to the most innovative start-ups, the SBC Awards North America will celebrate the very best the industry has to offer.”

SBC Awards North America is one of three industry awards shows that SBC has scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2021.

It has also announced the first edition of the SBC Awards Latinoamérica, which are scheduled for Miami on October 28. Taking place on the final day of the SBC Summit Latinoamérica conference and trade show, the ceremony will reward excellence in the region’s sports betting, casino, lottery, and bingo sectors.

Operators, affiliates and suppliers working in Latin America are eligible to enter the 29 categories. Nominations are open until August 6, 2021.

The final event is the eighth edition of the global SBC Awards show, which returns to Battersea Evolution in London on December 14. It will see more than 800 guests enjoy sumptuous hospitality and great networking opportunities, at what will be the last big industry event of 2021.

The 43 categories are open to operators, affiliates and suppliers from any market worldwide, with the winners having to see off competition from the best of the best in the global betting and gaming sector to claim their prizes.

Nominations for the SBC Awards are open from now until September 10, 2021, when the handpicked panel of independent judges will begin the shortlisting process.
