Global sportsbook operator PointsBet has agreed a long-term collaboration with former four-time PGA Tour winner, Notah Begay III.

Begay will produce and promote digital content for PointsBet, whilst offering expert insight into all current golfing tournaments.

As part of PointsBet’s target to become the market leader for golfing sportsbooks, Begay will offer exclusive promotions and opportunities for users as a brand ambassador.

Johnny Aitken, CEO of PointsBet USA, commented: “We at PointsBet are thrilled to partner with Notah and continue to build upon our expertise in the game of golf.

“Notah’s incredible knowledge of the game and his unique relationships across the country will serve our company and our customers, and ensure we are the premier sportsbook for golfers everywhere.

“This partnership also provides PointsBet with a genuine connection to NB3 Foundation and ensures we are playing an appropriate role in the communities in which we operate.”

Begay, along with his foundation NB3, will serve as a link between PointsBet and its media partners, NBC Sports and GOLF Channel to promote diversity and work with tribal communities in the US.

Now working as an analyst, he is the only full-blooded Native American to play on the PGA Tour. His role with PointsBet will see him connect with Native American groups and, according to a statement ‘support and fund Indigenous-driven, culturally centered programs that establish a clear pathway for Native children to live healthy and active lives’.

Notah Begay III added: “It’s with great excitement and anticipation that I pursue this new venture in collaboration with PointsBet.

“I look forward to standing alongside a company that truly understands the unique and intrinsic values of golf but also recognizes the importance of community.”
