BetMakers builds on US racing investment with Kentucky Downs sponsorship

BetMakers Technology Group has made its first significant racetrack sponsorship in the US after agreeing to support a number of races at The Kentucky Downs.

Alongside its Global Tote division, BetMakers’ sponsorship covers the $500,000 ‘Global Tote Juvenile Sprint’ at the prestigious racecourse. 

Dallas Baker, Head of International Operations for BetMakers, remarked: “Kentucky Downs is one of the most unique racing experiences anywhere in the world and BetMakers, through its new Global Tote division, is thrilled to be a sponsor during this very exciting race meeting.”

The sponsorship follows on from the 2020 ‘BetMakers Bonanza’ which delivered an additional $1 Million to the connections of Authentic after it was awarded the top prizes at the 2020 Haskell Stakes, Kentucky Derby and Breeders’ Cup Classic at Keeneland.

BetMakers highlighted that the company, alongside its Global Tote division, is continuing to make significant investments in US racing – both through new technologies and support for key industry initiatives.
