Digital marketing agency MediaTroopers has appointed Clinton Cutajar as the firm’s new CTO, effective January 2022.

According to the firm, Cutajar will help it expand as an independent publisher in the regulated US casino, sports betting, igaming, and poker markets.

CEO Sam Segal said: “We are super excited that Clinton will be joining us, bringing in several years of experience in the affiliation business and his enthusiasm towards the industry.

“His leadership style will help the company grow and empower MediaTroopers employees. As more and more US states are legalizing and opening sports betting and online gambling operations, we are confident that Clinton can lead us forward at the forefront of technology.”

Cutajar’s most recent role was CTO at the digital marketing company Acroud, where he was responsible for managing all tech-related assets and infrastructure, the integration of M&As, handling the restricting of the tech and SEO departments, and the group’s overall information security.

Segal added: “One of MediaTroopers’ main areas of growth is its portfolio of websites, news portals and other online assets that require a comprehensive, leading SEO strategy.

“Clinton’s experience in the SEO realm will enable him to take our vision further and lead our company to become a driving force and main player in the field. We at MediaTroopers look forward to further growth and expansion with Clinton.”
